I used to look in the mirror, and hate what I saw
But now I'm learning to love myself, flaws and all
I'm on a journey, to find peace within
I'm done with self-hate, it's time to begin
I used to put others first, and forget about me
But now I'm learning to prioritize, my own needs
Taking care of my body, and my mind
I'm learning to be patient, I'm learning to be kind
It's not always easy, to love yourself
But it's worth it, for your own mental health
Take it one day at a time, be gentle with yourself
You're worthy of love, you're worthy of help
Self-love, it's the greatest gift you can give
To yourself, to your soul, to the way you live
I'm grateful for this journey and all that I've learned
I'm living my life and I'm loving every turn.

Used to hate myself, used to feel so lost

I thought I needed someone else, to feel complete
But I learned the hard way, that self love is key
Used to hide my scars, used to feel so ashamed
But I'm learning to embrace them, to wear them like a chain
They're a part of me, they tell my story
I'm learning to be proud, to own my glory
I'm not perfect, I'm not trying to be
I'm just learning to accept, the real me
I'm finding my own voice, my own path
I'm learning to be happy, in my own skin at last

But I'm learning to enjoy the ride, to find elation
I'm learning to be kind, to myself and others
I'm learning to be me, to embrace all my colors.
