My Garden - A Poem
I own a garden, it isn't a pretty one... I barely ever took care of it, it was nothing special to me
But one day a butterfly came, it was the most beautiful butterfly I've ever seen
The butterfly loved that garden and stayed there making me company for years and years
But I made a mistake, I took my little butterfly for granted and forgot to take care of it
My butterfly flew away from my garden, never to be seen or heard from again
And ever since, I've been taking care of my garden, while I wait for my butterfly to come back
They say that by improving my garden, all the butterflies will want to come to it
But I do not care for that... for my own butterfly is still out there and I still wait for it
I might build the most beautiful garden. But no butterfly is allowed to step in
I've taken care of every flower, every root, making sure I never make the same mistake
And now I just pray and wait, day after day
That my butterfly will one day come back again

I love to see you smile - Randy Newman / Cover
I think you're just my style.
Everywhere I go,
Tellin' everyone I know,
Baby, I love to see you smile.
Don't want sail up the Nile.
Wouldn't wan' get too far,
From where you are,
'Cause I love to see you smile.
Like a watch without a dial.
What would I do if I didn't have you.
I love to see you smile.
The winter, or the fall,
The only place I wanna be
Is where I can see you smile at me.
Y'make it all worth while.
What would I do if I didn't have you.
I just love to see you smile.
I love to see you smile.
The winter, or the fall,
The only place I wanna be
Is where I can see you smile at me.
Y'make it all worth while.
What would I do if I didn't have you.
I love to see you smile.
I love to see you smile.

Night
an endless stream of heartache and pain.
Each night, as darkness falls,
I'm haunted by the weight of my sorrows.
My pillow becomes a confidant,
absorbing the overflow of my tears.
The silence is palpable,
as my soul cries out in agony.
The world around me fades away,
leaving me alone with my pain.
Memories flash before my eyes,
reminding me of all that I've lost.
Each tear is a release,
a cathartic release of emotion.
I cry until I am exhausted,
exhausted from the weight of my grief.
But somehow, in the morning light,
the world feels just a little lighter.
The tears may have stained my cheeks,
but they have cleansed my soul.
And so I cry myself to sleep,
night after night, in a never-ending cycle.

Max - After the Rain
It breaks my heart to see you down, but I promise you I won’t let you drown
I know it’s hard to see the light, when darkness takes over the night
But I’m here to be your guide, and show you that you’re worth the fight.
I know it’s not easy to cope
But you don’t have to do it alone
I’m here to lend a helping hand
And together we'll make a stand
When the world gets too heavy
I’ll hold you tight and steady
And together we’ll fight this pain
And find the sunshine after the rain… find the sunshine after the rain
I see you there with a heavy heart, fighting everyday just to play your part
I know it’s hard and it’s been a while but I’ll be here every step, every mile
I see the pain in your eyes, it’s hard to hide and harder to disguise
I know it’s tough but you’re not alone cause I’ll be here to help you carry on
I know it’s not easy to cope
But you don’t have to do it alone
I’m here to lend a helping hand
And together we can make a stand
When the world gets too heavy
I’ll hold you tight and steady
And together we’ll fight this pain
And find the sunshine after the rain… find the sunshine after the rain

Max - Powder
Her name is Powder, a girl so bright
But fate dealt her a cruel dark night
A mistake she made, a fatal error
Left her alone with nothing but terror
She tried to run, to escape the pain
But the memories stayed like an unbroken chain
The world saw her as a freak, a danger to all
But all that she wanted was to hear someone's call
Powder, Powder, where did you go?
Left with nothing but guilt and woe
Blowing up your family, a tragedy so rare
But it left her alone with a life so unfair
Powder, Powder, we hear your cries
We'll be there for you until the day we die
Your past may be dark but your future is bright
We'll hold your hand and guide you through the night, yeah.
The monkey bomb tore her world apart
Ripping away her family and heart
Haunted by the memories every day
But no one's there to help her find her way
She cries herself to sleep at night
Dreaming of a world without the fight
But in the morning, she wakes up alone
And then her heart turns to stone
Powder, Powder, where did you go?
Left with nothing, but guilt and woe
Blowing up your family, a tragedy so rare
But it left her alone, with a life so unfair
Powder, Powder, we hear your cries
We'll be there for you, until the day we die
Your past may be dark, but your future is bright
We'll hold your hand, and guide you through the night, yeah.

Max - Self-Love
I used to look in the mirror, and hate what I saw
But now I'm learning to love myself, flaws and all
I'm on a journey, to find peace within
I'm done with self-hate, it's time to begin
I used to put others first, and forget about me
But now I'm learning to prioritize, my own needs
Taking care of my body, and my mind
I'm learning to be patient, I'm learning to be kind
It's not always easy, to love yourself
But it's worth it, for your own mental health
Take it one day at a time, be gentle with yourself
You're worthy of love, you're worthy of help
Self-love, it's the greatest gift you can give
To yourself, to your soul, to the way you live
I'm grateful for this journey and all that I've learned
I'm living my life and I'm loving every turn.
Self-love is a journey, not a destination
I'm on my way to find a place of self-appreciation
Learning to love, everything about me
Used to hate myself, used to feel so lost
I couldn't find my way, I couldn't count the no loss
I thought I needed someone else, to feel complete
But I learned the hard way, that self love is key
Used to hide my scars, used to feel so ashamed
But I'm learning to embrace them, to wear them like a chain
They're a part of me, they tell my story
I'm learning to be proud, to own my glory
I'm not perfect, I'm not trying to be
I'm just learning to accept, the real me
I'm finding my own voice, my own path
I'm learning to be happy, in my own skin at last
Self love is a journey, not a destination
But I'm learning to enjoy the ride, to find elation
I'm learning to be kind, to myself and others
I'm learning to be me, to embrace all my colors.
Self-love, it's a journey, not a destination
I'm on my way to find a place of self-appreciation
Learning to love, everything about me
